Accountability

The City and County of San Francisco is making every effort to ensure that your Federal tax dollars are spent in an appropriate manner. In order to achieve this goal the following steps have been taken:

• Government Agencies and sub-recipients have received fraud prevention and detection training
• The San Francisco Office of the Controller provides oversight and internal controls on all American Recovery and Reinvestment Act projects
• City and County staff work with the Federal audit team to detect and prevent fraud
