This grant provides funds to Public Housing Agencies for building repairs and modernization, including critical safety repairs to improve and maintain public housing. This grant is administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

How is San Francisco using this grant?
The San Francisco Housing Authority will use the grant to carry out weatherization, painting, health and safety and general site improvements at the following public housing locations:

• Holly Courts
• 200 Randolph
• Potrero Terrace
• Potrero Annex
• Hunters Point East
• Alice Griffith
• Hunters Point West

How will this project benefit San Francisco?
This project will improve 638 family, senior and disabled housing units and create upwards of 40 new jobs.

Project Status:
To date this grant has helped facilitate the rehabilitation and renovation of units at Alice Griffith (photos above). As part of this project, 44.4 full time jobs have been created for San Francisco residents.
