The funding is federally designated to provide short and medium-term rental assistance to individuals and families who are at risk of becoming homeless, and to individuals and families who are homeless. It will also provide financial assistance and other services intended to help people and families find stable housing. These uses include short- or medium-term rental assistance, housing relocation and stabilization services including housing search, mediation or outreach to property owners, credit repair, security or utility deposits, utility payments, rental assistance, moving cost assistance and other homelessness prevention or rapid re-housing activities This grant is administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
