Project: Support Department of Aging Programs operations

This grant helps provide for an additional amount of funding for Aging Services Programs, especially those programs that bring seniors together to eat in group settings and deliver nutritional and dietary safe meals to seniors. This grant is administered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration on Aging.

How is San Francisco using this grant?
San Francisco will use this grant to offset local General Fund costs for senior nutrition programs.

Project Status:
This grant has helped provide quality meals to San Francisco seniors and created 1.33 full time jobs for San Francisco residents.
