Demonstration Scale Biorefineries Grant

Project: San Francisco‘s Oceanside Wastewater Treatment Plant 

This grant program provides funding to validate integrated biorefinery technologies that produce advanced biofuels, bioproducts, and heat and power in an integrated system. The Department of Energy will award funding to 10 to 20 refineries, all to be operational in the next three years.
