Environment & Energy

The City and County of San Francisco is dedicated to improving, enhancing and preserving the environment, addressing climate change and becoming more energy independent. In order to continue working towards these goals, San Francisco has applied for funding for several projects in the Environmental and Energy policy areas. These ARRA funds are available through National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
