Senator Boxer hosts Federal Grants and Resources Workshop for Small Businesses – August 19, 2009
This Federal Grants and Resources Workshop in San Francisco will give business and non-profit leaders from San Francisco the opportunity to hear presentations regarding grant and loan opportunities – including those related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act – from a variety of federal agency representatives. At a time when established services in the community and programs run by local government agencies are being asked to do more with less money, it is my hope that this workshop will allow you to learn more about federal funding opportunities and how they can serve our communities.
This upcoming workshop will be held on Wednesday, August 19th from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the 1st Floor Auditorium at City College of San Francisco, Mission Campus. The Mission Campus is located at 1125 Valencia Street in San Francisco and is within walking distance of the 24th Street Mission BART station. The Mission Campus is also accessible via several MUNI bus lines.
In addition to agency presentations, the workshop will also allow audience members the opportunity to meet federal agency representatives and pick up a variety of informational materials.
Please RSVP by Tuesday, August 18th by emailing Senator Boxer’s office at boxergrants@boxer.senate.gov. In your e-mail, please indicate your name, organization, phone number, and mailing address.
